Coach Rich Mihelic, OwnerList Item 2
My hockey story isn’t one of glory. It’s one of perseverance. Of course, thinking back to my earliest memories as a kid I’d imagine lifting the Stanley Cup over my head one day. But I never would have guessed that I’d be the one developing, training, pushing and mentoring the players who are lifting the cup.
Everyone wants glory. But not everyone has what it takes to persevere. I focus on perseverance because that’s what makes champions and wins titles. It's all about the amount of grit within a player's core.

Coach Nick Spinale, Manager Of Hockey Operations.List Item 1
My experience with hockey started much later than a lot of the players and coaches I work with. I started as a goalie for my best friend's team in 2013 at the age of 13! Having a late start to hockey gave me a unique perspective for training and what it means to be a hard worker. No matter when or where you start, the only requirement is hard work, consistency, and love of the sport to get you to where you want to go.
Outside of the rink, I spend much of my time diving into my hobbies including owning over 200+ Lego sets as well as 8 unique new and old video game systems! I often joke with my friends that all of my hobbies are the most expensive ones. Although I find much joy in these hobbies, it is unmatched to the joy I feel when I get to hear a player say that I am their favorite coach.

Coach Luke Peck, Professional On-Ice Instructor.List Item 4
I have been around the game of hockey my whole life. I started Learn to Play hockey at the age of 4 and fell in love with the game and knew I wanted to pursue it further. I played travel hockey for the Birmingham Rangers and USA Eagles growing up and then played for my high school team for 3 years. Following my senior year of high school, I decided to play D3 hockey at Oakland University, where I played for 2 years. I have had many great coaches and mentors throughout my hockey career that I have taken advice from them that I use now when I am training and coaching. I love working with the players in the Motor City Hockey community, they are all hard working and constantly trying to get better. I really enjoy working with my fellow coaches and all of the great MCH families.
When I am not on the ice training or playing hockey, I am usually studying, where I am working towards my Bachelor's Degree in Biology. I am also Pre-Med and hoping to become a Sports Medicine doctor.

Coach Mitch Lewandowski, Professional On-Ice Instructor & Current Professional Hockey Player.
Mitch Lewandowski, I’m 27 years old and started playing hockey at age 4. I have called Clarkston home for all my life. I played for little Caesars and Honeybaked during my Youth Hockey followed by the Chicago Steel (USHL) where I won a Clark Cup Championship. After two years I went to college and spent 5 years playing at Michigan State University. It was my dream school and I loved every second of it. I then turned Pro and played for the Toledo Walleye for two seasons with stints in the AHL with Tucson, Cleveland, and Milwaukee. I will be playing in Sweden next year for Sodertalje SK and enjoy my summers back home coaching and spending time with my dog and family.

Coach Blake Tosto, Professional On-Ice Instructor & Current Professional Hockey Player.
I was born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where I grew up playing a variety of sports before discovering my true passion for ice hockey. I began playing competitively at the age of five and have been committed to the game ever since.
My development began in various youth hockey programs throughout the Detroit area, eventually leading me to play junior hockey in both New York and Florida through the USPHL. My time in juniors opened the door to collegiate hockey, and I went on to compete at the NCAA level for Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania. While at Lebanon Valley, I balanced my responsibilities as a student-athlete while pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a minor in Management.
Following my collegiate career, I advanced to the professional level, playing for the Binghamton Black Bears in the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) and the Pensacola Ice Flyers in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). Competing professionally has allowed me to continue growing both on and off the ice while embracing the discipline and leadership the sport demands!

Coach Corey Schultheis
I was born in Germany and moved to Kansas when I was 5. I spent majority of my youth development playing local travel. Due to the lack of accessibility for hockey growing up in Kansas I often at times had to travel hours away to play for teams in different states for better completion during the off season. I started playing juniors during my senior year of high playing locally in the WSHL. After high school my family moved to Michigan and I continued my career playing in the SIJHL and USPHL before transitioning to play at Oakland university ACHA for Division I team (2021-2024). I currently play in the 4th tier of professional hockey in Germany. Outside of hockey I enjoy spending time with family/friends, traveling and watching basically any type of other sports.

Coach Noah Tracht
Hi everyone! My name is Noah Tracht. I’m 20 years old and currently living in West Bloomfield
Township. I’m a student at Oakland University, working toward my degree in Business
Management.
Hockey has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Ever since I first stepped on
the ice, I’ve been hooked. During my freshman year of high school, I had the amazing
opportunity to play for the 2005 Lakeland Falcons, coached by none other than Rich Mihelic.
Fast forward to today, and I’m proud to work alongside Coach Rich and the rest of the coaching
staff. Outside of the rink, I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially on the water, and I love
playing guitar whenever I get the chance.
