Players will NEVER outgrow Motor City Hockey
Our House program goes up to 8U. Motor City Hockey offers advanced training programs & more. Current training programs go up to age 19 years old.
Travel Hockey Transparency
Travel hockey is NOT for everyone.
Players will develop and be ready for travel hockey at different speeds.
Example (A) Player X went to travel hockey (1) year prior to player O. That doesn't mean player X will be better than player O as the players progress.
Everyone progresses at a different pace and speed.
There is NOTHING WRONG with aging out of 8U. Coach Rich's nephew Isaac played for the Future Stars and aged out of 8U. Isaac now plays at the Howe 1 travel level and will likely be moving to Yzerman which is right below AAA hockey.
USA Hockey Affiliation
We are the house affiliate of USA Hockey Club.
