  • What's the difference between Future Stars & Motor City Hockey?

  • What is the Accelerated 6U / 8U Program?

    Our 6U / 8U  Accelerated Program provides the opportunity for our younger players to train in a 5 to 1 coach environment with out skill trainers. This is the same format as our Advanced Travel Program. All drills and skills will be age appropriate.

    Our training programs consists of new players and a majority of our players have been training consistently for several years.

  • What's the "1st to Know" Email List? Why Sign Up?

    Sign up for the "1st to Know" email list on the front page of www.MotorCityHockey.com


    Why Sign Up? We post all training opportunities via this email list before any other source!

  • Who can participate in Advanced Training Programs?

    All players that are age 9 and up. Please review our program expectations and ethics here. 

  • Pro-rate opportunities.

    Pro-rated opportunities are ONLY available if a program is not sold out and registration is after the program has begun. 

  • What's the difference between Advanced Training Programs?

    All Advanced Training Programs are the same. We will run 3-4 skill training zones. 5 players to 1 coach or less ratio. All skills are individual based and players will be separated at the discretion of our professional training staff.

  • Do you offer walk-ins or private lessons?

    Motor City Hockey does NOT offer walk-in opportunities. We do not regularly schedule private lessons. If a private lesson is available it will be posted via the "1st to Know" email list first. All private lessons are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Training Locations

    Detroit Skating Club: Year Round.

    Lincoln Park: September - end of April.

    Fraser: June-August 31st.

    Dearborn: June-August 31st.
