VIVA is the home of player mentorship and personal growth. Here, athletes learn discipline, work ethic, accountability, and the true meaning of consistency. Whether you’re learning to lift the puck or dialing in advanced pull shots and one-timers, we cover it all.

I’ve been coaching hockey for 21 years, and today’s young athletes need mentorship more than ever. Along with hockey fundamentals, we focus heavily on personal development, including: Leadership, Public speaking, Working together as a team, Round-table video analysis, Problem solving and Conflict resolution.

Our Motto - Everyone walks past the piece of trash on the ground. If we’ve done our job, our players will be the ones who pick it up. It’s about doing the right thing — in hockey and in life.

Please read all policies and information before signing up. Our focus is solely on the kids, and protecting that environment is non-negotiable. No exceptions.

MEMBERSHIP

  • Month-to-Month Membership (Auto-Renewing)

    • $200 per month. Includes 4 training hours per month.

    • Hours must be used within 30 days of purchase.

    • Unused hours do NOT roll over.

    • Players have 48 hours to cancel / reschedule their class.

    Additional Training Hours

    • Members may purchase extra sessions at a discounted rate of $40 per hour.

    Scheduling

    • Classes are released two weeks at a time.

    • First come, first serve.

    • If a class is full, we cannot make exceptions or add additional spots.

    Class Cancellation Policy

    Players may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before the start time. may cancel or reschedule a class Cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows within 48 hours will not receive a training credit.

    Membership Cancellation Policy

    • You may cancel your membership online at any time.

    • No refunds will be issued for memberships that auto-renew before cancellation is completed.

  • We use MindBody, a world-class scheduling platform. You can book your training sessions with a single click — and if you need additional hours, you can purchase them directly through the site. You can also use the MindBody app and search: Motor City Hockey

  • Training Format

    • Training hours are open to players of all ages.

    Our VIVA staff will divide players into appropriate groups based on skill level to ensure the best learning environment for every athlete.

    • Maximum 6:1 player-to-coach.

    • 1- Hour Shooting Skills

    • 2-Hour Shot Club

    • 3-Hour Shot Club (Pizza Provided)

    • 4-Hour Shot Club (Pizza Provided)

    Directions: When you pull into the warehouse space it will be on the right hand side. You will see a VIVA La Hockey Sticker on the glass door.

    • New couches and Large TVs.

  • These are our initial launch hours. Additional training times may be added based on demand. Please refer to the live schedule for the most up-to-date availability.

    Weekly Schedule

    Tuesday

    • 5:15 PM – 6:15 PM —Coach Nick & MCH Staff.

    • 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM — Lead Coach Nick & MCH Staff.

    Wednesday

    • 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM — Coach Rich & MCH Staff

    Thursday

    • 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM — Coach Rich & MCH Staff.

    Shot Club (Saturdays)

    • Availability varies and is filled on a first come first serve basis.

    • 2, 3 OR 4 Hour Shot Clubs.

    • Lead Coach will be displayed on the schedule.

    Sunday Sessions (Select Dates)

    • 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM — Coach Rich

      Availability may vary depending on Dylan’s away-game schedule. All classes will be posted on the site.

  • Winter

    • Bring a change of shoes. Fresh dry athletic shoes. No salt or wet shoes on the athletic floor.

    • Hockey gloves.

    • Hockey stick.

    • Water bottle.

    • Athletic apparel.

    • Hockey Helmet.

  • Are there drop-in opportunities?

    • Drop-in opportunities vary. Members will have priority for class registration.

    I only used 1 hour this month. Can I roll over the remaining 3 hours?

    • No. All hours must be used within your 30-day training window.

    • Unused hours do not roll over, and there are no exceptions.
